For an even better experience when purchasing or searching for your desired records at the online store https://www.laternarecords.com (further referred to as the “shop”, “online shop”), please consult these terms. Thank you for reading and do not hesitate to contact us if further information is required. 

General Information

All items are brand new and unplayed even in the case when they are not sealed in the factory. They are delivered to you in the way they are produced and distributed by the official distributor.

To be true to the discerning guidelines for grading phonograph records we refer to only factory-sealed records as Mint (M). All other records are considered as Near Mint (NM or M-) even that they are never played and never taken out of their sleeves.

The buyer is responsible for paying the shipping and, if applicable, insurance costs (unless otherwise indicated in these terms). In addition to these, the buyer is responsible for paying any import taxes, duties and handling costs at the destination country that may occur for shipments to countries outside the European Union. The shipment outside the European Union will be accompanied with a CN 22 customs declaration and/or other document that identify the goods being shipped and the paid value for them (items value + shipping costs + other paid value). 

To provide a satisfactory level of our services currently we only accept orders from European Union countries. Please contact us should you have an enquiry for a shipping to a country that is not included in the shipping options. 

All products are listed with included Bulgarian Value Added Tax (VAT) in the amount of 20 %.

Value Added Tax in the European Union

Prices for items sold by Laterna Records within the European Union include Value Added tax (VAT), the rate is applied depending on your shipping country. Depending on your delivery address, VAT may vary at Checkout. The VAT rate is based on the delivery country of the customer. VAT is charged in accordance with local VAT laws and the EU directive thing effect from 1st of July 2021.

If you are a VAT-registered business within the European Union, please let us know before making your order so that we can adjust the transaction accordingly.

The following table contain the VAT rates charged for items shipped to destinations in the European Union for private customers.

Product and Ordering Information

You can use the online shop to browse for the desired products. All items listed on the site represent a non-binding offer and the price and availability are subject to change.

By submitting an order you are making a valid offer of purchase to us. You will receive an order confirmation email. Please check it for any discrepancies or incompleteness and notify us immediately if any.

We will notify you immediately in case of non-availability of ordered goods and refund any payment already made by you as soon as possible. The contract is concluded as soon as we accept your order by delivering the goods, or by sending the dispatch note within the delivery time as stated.

If you are less than 18 years of age, your parent or guardian must agree to the registration and ordering process and the related actions like payment, receiving of the goods, etc.

Refunds and Returns Policy

If you happen to not anymore desire the item(s) in your order and the order is not yet paid and/or shipped, please contact us and we will cancel the order without asking questions or obstructing your decision. 

If the item(s) turns out to be defective or incorrectly sent, please contact us and we will work with you to elaborate a reasonable solution.

Unless one of the previous points is satisfied or the parties have agreed otherwise, we cannot acknowledge a request for withdrawal or returns when it refers to unsealed audio/video/phonograph recordings. A product is considered to be unsealed if the protective film of the media was removed.

Any duplication or use of these resources such as images, diagrams, sounds or texts in other electronic or printed format is not permitted without the explicit agreement of its author or copyright holder.
