It’s “Illegal Jazz” time again. Toy Tonics head honcho Mathias ‚Kapote’ Modica and former OYE Records music impressario Delfonic started to release some of their reworks of rare dance jazz tracks. Made originally for their own DJ sets, then released on two limited EPs. The vinyl were sold out immediately. So they decided to do a next chapter: four reworks of obscure Latin Funk, unheard disco Soul and lot of jazzy vibes in here – not easy to decipher the originals. All tracks have been reworked for DJ buisness – editing, looping, adding drums – with full respect to the original artists. To make dancers hear and feel their vibes again.
